Phase 2 – quantitative
Time 1: November 2021
In November 2021, an initial online questionnaire was administered to parents. Participants were recruited through announcements shared by our various partners and on social media. Following this recruitment effort, a total of 3 255 parents completed the questionnaire (86% women; mean age = 39 years; 518 school governing board members).
Time 2: June 2022
In summer 2022, a portion of the initial sample was contacted again to complete a second online questionnaire, identical to the one administered at Time 1. Following this recruitment effort, a total of 990 parents completed the questionnaire (76% women; mean age = 41 years; 426 school governing board members).
Time 3: November 2022
In November 2022, the entire sample was contacted again to complete a third online questionnaire, identical to those administered at the previous time points. Following this recruitment effort, a total of 2 601 parents completed the questionnaire (87% women; Mage = 40 years; 417 school governing board members), corresponding to an attrition rate of 20% compared with Time 1.
Time 4: June 2023
In June 2023, a portion of the initial sample was contacted again to complete a fourth online questionnaire, identical to those administered at previous time points. A total of 938 parents completed the questionnaire (78% women; Mage = 42 years; 349 school governing board members), representing an attrition rate of 5% compared with Time 2.
